#11 - with Hermann and Thomas Neuburger about the mindfulness of meat-free butchers

Who doesn't know the "Neuburger" Leberkäse, to which you must never say Leberkäse? Hermann Neuburger runs the successful company from the Upper Austrian Mühlviertel with great success and growing unease. Because the mass production of meat and meat consumption in general is a problem on many levels - from health to the environment to ethics - that he experiences first-hand every day. As a butcher, he says: "We have to reduce our meat consumption!"

To make this easier for customers, he and his son Thomas spent years researching and developing meat-free organic alternatives with only five ingredients, investing a huge sum of money and a lot of heart and soul. Under the brand name "Hermann", meat-free products are now available, the quality of which amazes everyone.
